"Stuff"

First off, if you have a twitter account I have set up one for LH baseball because I can update it quicker than I can the blog.  I am still going to use the blog but if the weather gets bad or if there is a change in a game then the twitter account will be updated first and most often.  The name on the account is @LHCatsbaseball

Second, we will be handing out uniforms to both JV teams tomorrow after practice.

Third, picture day is Friday and once we finish with pictures we will have a regular practice.

Finally, Saturday we will intrasquad starting at 10:00 and around 12:00-12:30 we will finish up then have lunch and introduce the teams.

TRYOUTS

Tryouts will begin this Friday.  Times are listed below:

Friday:  4:30-6:30
Saturday:  11:00-1:00
Monday:  4:30-6:30
Tuesday:  4:30-6:30

Wednesday 1/16/2013

We will be taking some live BP with groups 1-3 today.  I will have have groups posted in the dugout and the stations for groups 4-6.

Thursday 1/10/2013

We will be at the field today to throw and then hit in the cages.

Welcome Back

I hope everyone had a nice holiday break and believe it or not, the 2013 baseball season will be under way by the end of this month.  Our baseball class will move from 4th period to 7th period this semester.  Because of UIL rules we won't start after school workouts until the 25th of this month.

The weather this week looks as though it may not cooperate with us and finding space indoors is next to impossible since almost  every sport has 7th period athletics. So, as long as it is not lightening or raining hard we will be at the field hitting in the cages and throwing so make sure you DRESS APPROPRIATELY.  Also, we WILL wear baseball pants during practices until further notice.
